Terms and Conditions

1.  All quotations, unless otherwise stated, are valid for 30 days

2. Quotations exclude delivery, insurance and packaging unless otherwise stated.

3. Once a quotation has been accepted, a deposit will be requested prior to work commencing. The amount of this deposit is to be specified by Vinwood based on each project.  Payment of a deposit will be treated as full acceptance of the  quotation and of these terms and conditions.  

4. The balance payment will be due upon completion.  Full invoice payment is required before the goods are despached from the Vinwood factory. 

5. Where the customer is unable to take delivery within 7days of notification of completion (by email), the furniture will be placed into storage and charges will be invoiced at a rate of R800+VAT per week excluding transport.  Full payment, including storage, will be required prior to delivery.

6. If the event of the furniture not been paid in full withing 30 days of project completion,  Vinwood will have the right to dispose of the goods at auction or via whatever means it deems appropriate. In this instance, the full proceeds of the sale will be to the benefit of Vinwood with no obligation to make any refund to the original purchasor.

7. Where Vinwood accepts an order for customised/bespoke furniture (ie which does not feature as part of Vinwood's standard product range as published on its official website), under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will the customer be entitled to a refund of any kind in the event of them cancelling either the entire order or any part thereof.  

8. Vinwood reserves the right to cancel an order at any stage and for whatever reason during the production process.  In this instance, any deposit refund will be at the sole discretion of Vinwood.    

9.  Vinwood is committed to providing the best possible service and quality products to its customers.  Under no circumstances will Vinwood be liable or be held responsible for damage arising from customers attempting to repair/service one of our products or who use a third party contractor to repair/service one of our products without our express written consent. 

10.  For any customised item of furniture commissioned by a customer and manufactured by Vinwood, Vinwood  will have the right to intgrate the design into its range at any point in the future without the need for permission or compensation.
