Sémillon High Chair
The Sémillon high chair is a modern design, but with a strong Shaker reminiscence. This chair is available in only one height which is meant for use at a bar counter or high table (110cm high).
Design Features
- The back rest and hind legs form a reverse curved unit that is achieved by joining two barrel staves in reverse order by midst of a splice joint.
Material
Reclaimed barrel Oak from 225l and 300l brandy and red wine barrels. The radial grain of the radial split barrel oak is visible particularly on the back of the chair.
Upholstery
The seat cushion can be covered in Leather or fabric. Click here to view available upholstery options. The filling is high density foam.
Finish
- Natural Oak penetrating poly wax finish. This finish brings out the natural colour of the wood and highlights the wine stains and toasting tints which is characteristic of the red wine barrels.
- Stained in your choice of woodfinish.
