Sangiovese Settee
The Sangiovese Settee is designed to match the William Morris classic Zinfandel Chair. The design is similar except for a fixed back and slightly deeper seat cushion which ensures a comfortable, luxurious lounge experience.
Design features
- The back rest cushions are high enough to support your head when leaning back into the settee.
- The seat cushion is slanted towards the back of the seat to provide optimal seat comfort and to prevent the seat cushion from sliding forward.
- The parts of this piece are slightly thicker and bulkier than those of the Zinfandel and Pinot Gris - proportionately to the larger size of the Sangiovese.
Material
Reclaimed barrel Oak from 225l and 300l brandy and red wine barrels. The radial grain of the quarter split barrel oak is visible particularly on the arms of the Sangiovese seat. The Bottom rail, top rail, seat slats and back slats are made from new American Oak.
Finish
- Natural Oak penetrating poly wax finish. This finish brings out the natural colour of the wood and highlights the wine stains and toasting tints which is characteristic of the red wine barrels.
- Stained in your choice of woodfinish.

Upholstery
The seat cushion can be covered in Leather or fabric. Click here to view available upholstery options. The filling is high density foam.
