Harmony Bed

The Harmony bed is designed as a sleigh bed with a beautiful curved headboard and footboard. It is also available without the footboard.

Design Features

The headboard, base and footboard are three separate units that can be disassembled for easy transport.
The joints between the base and headboard are very strong and stable. The joint consists of a double mortis-and-tennon, which provides the strength, and a looner-washer, bush and rod system to keep the joint in position.

Material

The headboard and footboard are manufactured from reclaimed 300l wine barrel staves. The base is made from new solid oak and pine for the mattress slats.

Finish

Natural Oak penetrating poly wax finish. This finish brings out the natural colour of the wood and highlights the wine stains and toasting tints which is characteristic of the red wine barrels.
Stained in your choice of woodfinish.
